In trades, the Gold Rush item goes for an average of 1.05 million credits, which is about $6,300 in real-world money. In addition to being only available to Alpha testers, getting the Gold Rush boost also required the player to invite other players to the Alpha (and only on PC). It’s a limited rocket boost that can give you a competitive edge when customized into the build of your car, as well as make you look amazing in the game with a huge fiery trail behind your vehicle. Only the game’s Alpha testers were given this exclusive Alpha Reward known as the Gold Rush. The nuggets are valued at around 14,250 credits. Since more players were involved by that point, more of the Gold Nuggets were given out than the Alpha rewards. The Beta Reward called the Gold Nugget is the only other item of this kind, given out to participants of the game’s Beta version. They include the Gold Cap and Goldstone already mentioned as well as the Gold Rush boost that we’ll be talking about next. The coveted Alpha Rewards make up a large percentage of the rarest items in Rocket League.
